Join the London Youth Boys’ Choir for the culmination of a special project celebrating the 300th anniversary of the premiere of Handel’s Water Music on the River Thames. Supported by members of the Girls’ and Chamber choirs, the concert programme centres on the theme of water, and will feature the premiere of of songbook of pieces composed by the Boys’ Choir exploring the history and significance of the Thames.
London Youth Choir are delighted to be partnered with contemporary vocal ensemble, Reverie, for Water Music 300. For the project, leading professionals from Reverie have visited the LYC Boys’ Choir across the summer term, engaging in a series of drama, poetry and composition workshops. The project is kindly supported by the Elias Fawcett Trust and the Golsoncott Foundation.
